Information
For over 45 years, we have maintained a wonderful reputation of serving young children in our community. We have a team of approximately 50 teachers working with children 18 months up to 5 years of age.
We are accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International, an international organization which evaluates our programs and ensures we hold to their high standards of excellence.
One of our goals is to maintain a well-balanced curriculum that includes both academic foundation and hands-on learning. We use A Beka curriculum for letters, phonics, reading readiness, numbers and writing. Scripture Bites curriculum is used for additional math lessons, science activities and sensory experiences. Toys, equipment, materials, computer software and furnishings are continually added to all classrooms to provide new challenges and a spark of newness. Spacious playgrounds with shade trees are available for numerous classes of different ages.
At Castle Hills First Baptist Preschool and Day Care, learning is fun! Many of the things children learn about follow a theme. To enhance their learning experiences, children use thematic prop boxes, take field trips to various places of interest and have fun filled parties.
